The Weakley County Historical and Genealogical Society will meet on July 20th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin for a short business meeting, followed by Garrett Hutchens, our speaker, at 6:30 pm. He will talk about the history and recent remodeling of the funeral home and answer questions. The program will take place at 207 Central Ave. at the Murphy Funeral Home. Guests are welcome and are asked to park in the South lot. The event is free and open to the public.
